Centura Accommodations is currently seeking a dedicated individual to join their team as a Light Duty Cleaner in Mackenzie, British Columbia. This full-time, permanent position offers an immediate start for the right candidate.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various areas of the accommodation facilities. Key duties involve a range of light cleaning tasks to ensure a comfortable and tidy environment for guests and staff.

• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish various floor surfaces.
• Dust and wipe down furniture.
• Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furnishings.
• Make beds and change linens.
• Replenish clean towels and toiletries.
• Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• Clean and sanitize elevators.
• Collect debris and empty trash receptacles.
• Clean changing rooms and showers.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• No specific degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
• Previous experience in a similar cleaning role is considered an asset.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada, whether as a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or temporary resident with a valid work permit. Applications from individuals without valid work authorization will not be considered.

Working Conditions / Benefits

• Wage: $20.75 per hour.
