Job Description
As a Farm Labourer in grain production, you will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks that contribute to the successful cultivation and harvesting of crops. This role involves both manual labour and the operation of farm machinery in a rural setting.
- Clear fields of natural debris like wood and stones.
- Participate in the harvesting of seedlings.
- Perform planting, cultivating, and irrigation duties for various crops.
- Apply fertilizers and sprays to crops as required.
- Execute general crop harvesting tasks.
- Operate and conduct routine maintenance on farm machinery and equipment.
- Ensure the upkeep of farm machinery, equipment, and agricultural buildings.
- Clean and maintain all assigned equipment to operational standards.
Requirements
- No specific degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
- Possession of 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant farming experience.
- Proficiency in English.
- A valid driver’s licence is mandatory for this role.
