We are currently looking for 15 experienced and safety-conscious Long Haul Truck Drivers to join our fleet immediately. Job Overview

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you are the face of our company on the road. You will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations while delivering exceptional service to our customers. This role requires frequent and constant travel, with routes that vary based on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Route Planning & Navigation: Plan efficient routes using GPS and other navigation devices, adjusting for weather and traffic to ensure on-time delivery while minimizing fuel consumption and environmental impact.

  • Cargo Management: Safely load and unload goods, ensuring cargo is properly secured with tarps and straps. Verify the integrity of the cargo and all related documentation.

  • Vehicle Operations: Operate straight or articulated trucks (Semi-trailer trucks) in a safe and responsible manner across various terrains and conditions..

  • Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of hours of service, distance traveled, fuel consumption, and cargo information in accordance with transportation regulations.

  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns with professionalism, ensuring a positive experience and maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

  • Licensing: Valid Class 1/1F/A Driver’s Licence.

  • Certification: Air Brakes Endorsement (Z) is required.

  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but we are willing to train motivated candidates who possess the right attitude and license.

  • Skills: Strong knowledge of highway safety rules and regulations.

  • Work Status: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid Work Permit holder).

Working Conditions

  • Term: Permanent, Full-Time.

  • Hours: 40 to 50 hours per week.

  • Salary: $30.50 per hour.

  • Work Environment: On-the-road; frequent and long-distance travel is mandatory.
