The Clarenville Inn is currently looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team in Clarenville, Newfoundland. This is an on-site position located directly off the Trans Canada Highway.

Salary: $16.35 hourly
Job Type: Part-time, Term contract (16 to 40 hours per week)

Responsibilities

As a key member of our housekeeping team, your daily duties will include :

Cleaning Guest Rooms: Sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
Linen and Bedding: Making beds, changing sheets, and distributing fresh towels.
Sanitization: Cleaning and disinfecting bathroom and kitchen fixtures. Disinfecting high-touch areas like elevators and door handles.
Restocking: Ensuring the linen closet is organized and replenishing toiletries for guests.
Guest Services: Attending to guest requests for extra supplies and providing basic information about the hotel facilities.
Maintenance: Picking up debris, emptying trash containers, and reporting any lost and found items.

Requirements

Language: English
Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
Experience: Will train (no previous experience needed).
Security: Must be bondable and able to provide a reference.

Physical Requirements

Physically demanding role requiring attention to detail.
