Job Description

As a Home Support Worker Student, you will be responsible for assisting clients, primarily elderly females, with their daily living needs in a home setting. The role requires a compassionate approach and the ability to perform various care tasks while maintaining a supportive and respectful environment.

• Administering bedside and personal care to clients.
• Assisting with medication administration as required.
• Supporting clients in regular exercise, such as walking.
• Feeding or assisting clients with their meals.
• Planning and preparing therapeutic diets and menus.
• Providing companionship to foster a positive atmosphere.
• Delivering comprehensive personal care services.
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals tailored to client needs.

Requirements

• Possession of a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Must be enrolled as a full-time student.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Current CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate are mandatory.
• Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check.
• Ability to provide professional references.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada (Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or temporary resident with a valid work permit).
