Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and nurturing children, managing their daily routines, and ensuring a safe and healthy living space. This includes a variety of tasks aimed at supporting the children’s well-being and development, alongside light household duties.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a tidy home.
- Assist infants and children with bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Implement disciplinary methods in accordance with parents’ guidelines.
- Provide instruction to children on personal hygiene and social development.
- Maintain detailed records of daily activities and health information for children.
- Ensure the home environment remains safe and healthy for children.
- Organize and lead engaging activities such as games and outings.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored for children.
- Provide direct supervision and care for children at all times.
- Transport children to and from school and scheduled appointments.
- Attend to the emotional well-being and needs of children.
- Assist children with their homework assignments.
- Cook meals as required for the household.
Requirements
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in child care.
- Language: Proficiency in English is required.
- Security: Must successfully complete a criminal record check.
- Personal Suitability: Demonstrated efficiency in interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, sound judgement, strong organizational abilities, reliability, excellent time management, patience, and honesty.
Working Conditions & Benefits
- Salary: $20.50 per hour, for 40 hours per week.

- Start Date: Employment is scheduled to commence as soon as possible.
