Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize the schedules for drivers who deliver and pick up freight. Aim to make the routes as efficient as possible to save both time and money.
- Communicate clearly with customers about their shipments. Inform them about the expected delivery or pickup times, and ask about any special handling needs they might have.
- Check shipments closely to make sure they arrive on time. Provide customers with updates on their shipment status, and handle any issues if problems arise during transport.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in transportation, logistics, or a related field is a plus.

2-3 years of experience as a truck dispatcher or in a similar role within the transportation industry.
