Responsibilities:
- Look after children at the employer’s home.
- Bathe, dress, and feed babies and older kids as needed.
- Prepare baby formulas and change diapers.
- Plan and cook healthy meals for the children.
- Organize activities like games and outings to help them grow in body and mind.
- Teach kids good hygiene habits and social skills.
- Keep the home environment safe and clean.
- Follow the parents’ guidelines for managing behavior.
- Support children’s emotional well-being and help them develop socially.
- Handle light cleaning tasks connected to child care.
- Take charge of the home when parents are away.
- Travel with the family and assist with watching the children and housekeeping.
- Offer age-appropriate learning activities like games, crafts, reading, and outings.
- Drive or accompany children to school and appointments.
- You might have to keep records of what the children do every day and their health info.
Qualifications:
- Finished high school or have a similar level of education.
- Experience in child care or something similar is a bonus.
- Having First Aid and CPR certification is beneficial.
- Must be able to do physically demanding and repetitive tasks.
- It’s important to be organized, reliable, and patient.
