Job Description: Hotel Receptionist
Auberge du lac Sacacomie Inc. is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Hotel Receptionist to join our front desk team. This is a permanent, full-time position at our beautiful on-site location. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable stay from check-in to check-out.

Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary: $26.22 per hour (40 hours per week)
Shifts: Early morning, Evening
Responsibilities

Greet, register, and assign rooms to arriving guests.

Process guest departures, calculate charges, and receive payments (cash, credit, etc.).

Handle room reservations, including taking, canceling, and changing bookings.

Process group arrivals and departures efficiently.

Investigate, resolve, and follow up on guest complaints and claims.

Provide information on hotel facilities, services, and local points of interest.

Perform front desk clerical duties such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.

Answer telephone calls, relay calls and messages, and deliver wake-up calls.

Balance cash and complete daily balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.

Maintain an up-to-date inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.

Exchange foreign currency for guests.

Assist clients/guests with special needs.

Strictly follow all established emergency and safety procedures.

Provide outstanding customer service at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education: College/CEGEP diploma.

Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Languages: Fluency in French is required.
