Job Description
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing IT operations, managing significant projects, and ensuring the robust security of information systems. This multifaceted position involves both strategic planning and day-to-day operational leadership, with a strong focus on cybersecurity.
- Coordinate and manage IT projects, from the design phase through to the deployment of new IT systems and services.
- Direct and control daily operational activities within the IT department.
- Regularly evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of daily operations.
- Plan, monitor, and control departmental budgets and expenditures.
- Organize and schedule daily IT operations to ensure smooth functioning.
- Participate in the recruitment of new staff members for the IT team.
- Develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures specifically for information systems.
- Effectively manage IT incidents, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal disruption.
- Provide supervision to a team ranging from 5 to 10 individuals.
Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications Management, or an equivalent field of study, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in information technology (IT) service delivery.
- Specialization: Demonstrated expertise in Cybersecurity.
- Security & Safety: Ability to obtain confidential security clearance and a satisfactory criminal record check.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, strong organizational skills, and proven leadership abilities.
