Job Description

This Mid-Level Accountant position involves supporting the Senior Accountant and Finance Manager. The role focuses on maintaining precise financial records, assisting with diverse accounting processes, and ensuring strict adherence to company policies and internal controls. Key responsibilities associated with this role include:

• Accurately recording daily financial transactions.
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Performing comprehensive reconciliations for bank accounts, customer ledgers, supplier accounts, and general ledgers.
• Assisting with payroll processing and related accounting entries.
• Verifying and processing transactions pertaining to Value Added Tax (VAT).
• Maintaining fixed asset records and their corresponding depreciation schedules.
• Contributing to month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Preparing various financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Providing support during internal and external audit processes.
• Ensuring diligent documentation and compliance with established company procedures.
• Coordinating effectively with other departments to resolve accounting-related issues.
• Identifying and reporting any accounting discrepancies or opportunities for process improvements.

Requirements
