Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad range of culinary activities, ensuring high standards of food quality and kitchen hygiene. This role involves comprehensive meal preparation, menu planning, and kitchen management to support daily operations and special events.

• Plan diverse menus and accurately estimate ingredient requirements for their execution.
• Prepare and cook entire meals or individual dishes and food items.
• Create specialized dishes for customers with dietary restrictions, allergies, or intolerances.
• Conduct regular inspections of kitchen and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Order necessary supplies and equipment to keep the kitchen well-stocked.
• Manage and maintain detailed inventory records of food products, supplies, and equipment.
• Ensure all kitchen and work areas are kept clean and organized.
• Oversee the organization and preparation of food for buffets and banquets.
• Manage overall kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and quality.
• Accurately slice cooked meats for various dishes.
• Maintain a consistent inventory of all kitchen supplies.
• Perform general food preparation tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Proficiency in English is essential for this role.
• Completion of a secondary (high) school graduation certificate or possession of equivalent experience is required.
• Candidates must have 3 to less than 5 years of experience in a cooking capacity.
