Job Description

The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing all facets of the restaurant’s operations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and exceptional customer service. This role involves both strategic financial planning and hands-on staff management.

• Analyze and develop budgets to optimize restaurant profitability, including food, supply, and labor costs.
• Evaluate daily operations and make necessary adjustments to food preparation methods and menu pricing.
• Plan and organize daily activities and workflows.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and set schedules for a team of 5-10 staff members.
• Manage and maintain inventory levels, including costing products and services.
• Negotiate agreements with suppliers for food and other necessary provisions.
• Handle customer complaints and provide excellent service.
• Negotiate with clients for catering services or facility usage.
• Lead and instruct individual team members to foster development.

Requirements

• Completion of College/CEGEP or possessing equivalent experience.
• 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a similar management role.
• Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Windows.
• Strong command of the English language.
