Job Description
As a Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for the comprehensive maintenance and repair of various commercial vehicles. This includes diagnosing issues, performing necessary adjustments, and replacing components to ensure optimal performance and safety of trucks and trailers.
- Inspect and thoroughly test mechanical units to pinpoint faults and malfunctions.
- Adjust, repair, or replace components within commercial transport truck systems.
- Service and maintain parts of automotive systems.
- Adjust, repair, or replace components of truck-trailer systems.
- Undertake the repair or replacement of mechanical units or individual components.
- Execute all scheduled maintenance services as required.
Requirements
- Education: A Registered Apprenticeship certificate or demonstrated equivalent experience is necessary.
- Experience: Candidates should possess between three and five years of relevant experience.
- Language: Proficiency in either English or French is required.
- Work Authorization: Applicants must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents of Canada, or temporary residents holding a valid work permit. Applications from individuals not authorized to work in Canada will not be considered.
