Olaiya Household is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Home Child Care Provider to join their family in Calgary, Alberta. This full-time, permanent position offers an immediate start for a qualified individual passionate about nurturing children in a home environment. A Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) has been requested for this role.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive care and supervision of children within the employer’s residence. This role requires a nurturing individual capable of creating a safe, healthy, and stimulating environment for the children. All duties will be performed on-site at the family home.

• Supervise and care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Bathe, dress, and feed infants and young children.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
• Organize and lead engaging activities such as games, crafts, and outdoor outings.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to the children’s areas.
• Maintain detailed records of children’s daily activities and health information.
• Ensure the home environment remains safe and healthy for children.

Requirements

• Proficiency in English is required.
• No specific degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
• Candidates must possess 1 to less than 2 years of verifiable experience in child care.
