Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of personal care and household management tasks, ensuring the well-being and comfort of clients. This role involves working directly on-site at the client’s residence, with no option for remote work.

• Provide bedside and personal care assistance.
• Administer prescribed medications as required.
• Help clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
• Assist with regular exercise, such as daily walks.
• Feed or assist clients during meal times.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a tidy living space.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Shop for groceries and other household supplies.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to client needs.
• Supervise and care for children.
• Assume full responsibility for household management when parents are absent.

Requirements

• Language: Proficiency in English is required.
• Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience is necessary.
• Experience: Candidates should have 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
• Work Authorization: This employer accepts applications from Canadian citizens, permanent or temporary residents of Canada, and other candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit. A Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) has been requested for this position.
