Northlake Financial is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our creative team. This remote position is ideal for a professional with a strong artistic vision and the ability to translate ideas into compelling visual designs. The ideal candidate will collaborate with clients and internal teams to create high-quality graphics and illustrations that align with branding and communication objectives.
Job Title: Graphic Designer

Location: Remote (Based in Barrie, ON)
Salary: $57,525 annually
Hours: 30 to 32 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
Work Schedule: Day, Morning (Exact schedule to be determined)

Key Responsibilities
- Estimate the time required to complete graphic designs and illustrations.
- Consult with clients to understand their communication needs and determine the nature and content of illustrations.
- Work closely with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements, and content of marketing and communication materials.
- Design graphic elements that align with the client’s objectives and brand identity.
- Prepare sketches, layouts, and other graphic components for various projects.
- Conduct usability testing to ensure designs meet user expectations and accessibility standards.
- Develop templates for consistent branding and efficient design processes.
- Prepare manufacturing drawings, specifications, and guidelines for production.
- Construct prototypes of designs when necessary.
Requirements
Languages: English
Education: College/CEGEP diploma in Graphic Design or a related field.
Experience: Experience is considered an asset, but a strong portfolio demonstrating relevant skills is required.
