Key Responsibilities
- Review insurance claims and examine records to determine coverage eligibility.
- Conduct interviews and take statements from policyholders.
- Analyze financial and risk reports to assess potential insurance liabilities.
- Work with various insurance products, including disability, business risk, health, and life insurance.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of claim investigations.
- Utilize computer software such as MS Word, databases, spreadsheets, and MS Windows.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- College diploma, CEGEP, or a non-university certificate (1-2 years program) in a related field.
Languages:
- English
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Database Software).
- Strong analytical and investigative skills.
Security & Compliance Requirements
- Must pass a basic security clearance
- Criminal record and credit check required
