Job Details
- Salary: $21.94 hourly
- Hours: 40 to 72 hours per week
- Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Overtime applicable)

Responsibilities
- Manage farm workers who produce and harvest crops like cabbage, carrots, cauliflowers, cucumbers, greenhouse tomatoes, seed corn, soybeans and tomatoes.
• Improve crop production and quality by coordinating processes such as planting, cultivation, fertilisation, and spraying.
• Grade vegetables and fruits based on size, shape, colour, and volume to determine market price.
• Keep your workspace safe and efficient by clearing away rubbish like wood and stones.
• Operate farm machinery such as tractors and manure spreaders.
Requirements
Education
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
Experience
- Experience is an asset, but not mandatory.
Skills and Attributes
- Team player that can adjust to changing working conditions.
• Physically fit and able to handle high loads in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong attention to detail and the capacity to operate under pressure.
Work Environment
- Rural area with varying conditions such as dusty, noisy, hot, and livestock environments.
Equipment Proficiency
- Ability to safely operate tractors and manure spreaders.
