Role Overview: Account Officer
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Account Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, analyzing risk exposures, and assisting with policy renewals. You will report directly to the Managing Director and play a key role in delivering excellent insurance services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and reviewing insurance policies, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with clients and insurance providers regarding policy renewals, changes, and claims.
- Analyze client risk exposure and recommend suitable insurance coverage.
- Maintain and update client records using RiskWise’s tracking system.
- Support marketing initiatives and contribute to business growth strategies.
- Prepare reports and handle administrative tasks related to insurance policies.
- Respond to client inquiries and provide professional assistance.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Accountancy, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years in the insurance industry (or a related field).
- Skills:
- Strong client relationship management skills
- Excellent verbal and written English communication
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Leadership experience is a plus.
- Basic understanding of insurance terms and policies.
- Ability to handle irate clients and work beyond office hours if needed.
- Cebu City residents are preferred.
